Alisha Biesinger (Associate)

Alisha concentrates her practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation, medical malpractice, and toxic tort litigation. Before joining Heyl Royster, she worked for a medium-sized law firm in Belleville, Illinois, where she defended clients in medical malpractice, toxic tort, and premises liability suits.

Alisha attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Consumer Economics with a minor in Business Administration in 2012. Alisha continued her education at the Southern Illinois University School of Law and graduated summa cum laude in 2012. She also completed a specialization in Business and Transactions. While in law school, Alisha held a teaching assistant position for Constitutional Law and Lawyering Skills, the first-year research and writing course. She was the President of the Justinian Society (the Italian Club) where she coordinated social events and community outreach. Alisha also received several CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for her classroom performance, received the Academic Excellence Award, and ranked Dean's List all six semesters.

While in law school, Alisha interned as a Summer Associate for Heyl Royster for two summers. She spent her first summer in the Urbana office and the following summer in the Peoria office.
