Community Involvement

Community Involvement

Improving our communities is important to us. We encourage involvement in social, charitable, religious and community organizations. For example, we are coaches and mentors for schools and youth organizations. We are officers and board members of civic and community organizations, including not-for-profit hospitals, churches and social service organizations. We provide hundreds of hour of pro bono volunteer legal services every year.

We encourage all of our employees - lawyers, paralegals and staff - to participate in community service activities. Our partners have served as directors of the International Red Cross and many local not-for-profit boards, chaired a local United Way campaign, assisted in founding a local chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and served as chief legal officer of a religious jurisdiction.

In addition, our employees frequently work as a team in support of a particular charitable effort, such as the Lee National Denim Day and Race for the Cure in support of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Mark Linder Walk for the Mind, and the American Heart Association Wear Red Day.

The communities in which we practice offer us many volunteer opportunities. We believe that community involvement not only improves the quality of life in those communities, but makes us better as well.
