Firm Hosts Webinar on Government Construction Projects
On March 28th, Heyl Royster attorneys Timothy Bertschy, Mark McClenathan and Stacy Crabtree discussed common practices and/or concerns relating to construction and the bidding process in a webinar for government officials entitled "Building Your Community's Future: Best Practices for Local Government Construction Projects." Among other things, the webinar covered project financing and budgeting, procurement of services, and the post-bid process.
Tim Bertschy is chair of Heyl Royster's Governmental Practice and Commercial Litigation Practice. Mark McClenathan is chair of the firm's Construction Practice and has an extensive background in building construction and mechanics. Stacy Crabtree serves as general counsel to a local municipality and has represented governmental entities in contract disputes.
