Salemi Presents Program at Correctional Health Care National Conference

Scott Salemi put on a program entitled “Death in a County Jail: An Interactive Discussion of What to Do” at the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) National Conference held in Las Vegas in October. Salemi used “Poll Everywhere” presentation software imbedded in PowerPoint slides to elicit live audience participation via texting throughout the presentation. The NCCHC’s National Conference provides comprehensive coverage of all aspects of correctional health care, including chronic care, mental health, suicide prevention, oral health, crisis intervention, liability challenges, and risk management. In attendance were doctors, nurses, administrators, and general counsel for correctional health care providers nationwide.
