Heyl Royster Adds Four Attorneys

Heyl Royster announces the addition of four attorneys at its offices around the state. In Urbana, Renee L. Monfort has joined the firm as Of Counsel and Cheri A. Stuart as an associate. New associates Natalie D. DeLong and Erin L. O'Boyle have joined the firm in its offices in Peoria and Springfield.
Renee is well known for defending physicians and hospitals in high-profile medical malpractice litigation over the past 19 years. She also provides general counsel to individual health care professionals, multi-specialty clinics and hospitals on a wide range of administrative, policy and risk management matters. Her practice also includes representation of clients in administrative proceedings before the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and the Illinois Human Rights Commission. Renee is Of Counsel with the firm.
Prior to law school, Cheri was a practicing Registered Nurse for 15 years, first in a hospital setting in the operating room and psychiatric unit, and then as a nurse case manager for insurance companies. Following her graduation from law school, she practiced medical malpractice defense in Chicago for five years prior to joining the Dobbins Fraker firm. Her practice at Heyl Royster will continue to focus on the defense of physicians and hospitals. Cheri is an associate.
Joining the firm's Peoria office is Natalie DeLong, who graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2009. Erin O'Boyle, who graduated from University of Illinois College of Law in 2009, is resident in the firm's Springfield office.
