If litigation becomes a reality, Ann litigates on behalf of her clients in courtrooms and at the administrative agency level.
Ann specializes her practice in family law Guardian Ad Litem work (representing the best interests of the child(ren) in contested custody litigation to the Court). Ann is also regularly appointed as a Guardian Ad Litem for disabled adults. She has expertise in municipal law, employer's side labor and employment concerns, including union and non-union negotiations, and school law (particularly special education issues). Ann has a unique familiarity with laws affecting Illinois libraries and regularly works with Phil Lenzini, assisting almost a full third of the libraries in the state of Illinois with their legal and budgetary concerns. Finally, Ann regularly serves many area municipalities as an administrative hearing officer, hearing contested ordinance violations in a quasi-judicial capacity.
