Dashawn Cason

Dashawn Cason joined the firm in 2024 as an associate at our Peoria office. His legal practice is focused on civil litigation, municipal law, and representing corporate and governmental clients with unique solutions to their various legal needs. Dashawn's passion for law and commitment to excellence has propelled him to become a successful first-generation college and law school graduate.

Throughout his career, Dashawn has been an effective communicator, an agile problem solver, and a solution-oriented advocate for his clients. He brings a wealth of experience from the public and private sectors to his current role, having previously served the City of St. Louis as a City Counselor. His dedication to his clients is unwavering, and he always ensures their needs and concerns are his top priority.

Dashawn's experiences have taught him the importance of building strong relationships and networks in the legal profession. He believes that relationships are the bedrock of the legal profession and is grateful for the network he has developed over the years. He is always approachable and ready to converse with his clients and colleagues, creating a comfortable and open environment for discussion.

Despite his impressive accomplishments, Dashawn remains humble. He is a natural courtroom advocate who has successfully drafted and argued a variety of contested motions in state and federal courts against more experienced attorneys. He understands that each situation is unique and that the best way to predict the future is to create it, always approaching his work with a level-headed and down-to-earth attitude.
