Heather Mueller-Jones

Heather has been practicing for over 17 years and has defended clients in negligence, breach of contract, premises liability, dramshop, wrongful death, defamation, professional liability, fraud, conspiracy, infliction of emotional distress, nursing home, insurance coverage, and product liability cases. As Of Counsel in the firm's Edwardsville office, she has significant experience in litigation throughout southern Illinois and Missouri, including St. Clair County and Madison County, Illinois. With first- and second-chair trial experience, Heather has obtained defense verdicts in trial, mandatory arbitrations, and has argued and won summary judgment motions in state and federal court venues. She has also written, argued, and won appeals in the Fifth District of Illinois.

Heather's empathy for her clients facilitates a relationship with them that allows her to handle the more challenging clients. Heather believes that forming relationships based on respect and dignity results in better client outcomes. She works zealously for her clients and understands the hardships, nervousness, anxiety, and stress that they are experiencing. As such, her clients trust her and know she is working for their benefit.

Heather has significant ties to the community, which benefits her clients, as she has a pulse on the community and its leaders. She founded and administered The Maryville Connection Facebook group, which has over 10,000 members and provides information for the community and supports small businesses. She and her late husband are former Madison County Board Members; she founded the Madison County Women Lawyers Group and is a founding member of the 100+ Women Who Care from the 618.
