Walker Mondt

Attorney in Edwardsville, IL

Focusing on appeals and general civil litigation, including commercial litigation and personal injury defense, Walker Mondt joined the firm in the spring of 2023 and is based in our Edwardsville office. Before beginning his tenure at Heyl Royster, Walker clerked for the Honorable Justice Thomas M. Welch in the Illinois Fifth District Appellate Court and the Honorable Judge M. Elaine Hammond in the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California.

Walker received his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2020, gaining admission to the Illinois Bar in January 2021. While in law school, he competed in mock trials, participated in the Illinois State Appellate Prosecutor Clinic, and clerked at a regional law firm.  He gained further experience by spending his summers between law school, as a judicial extern in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Illinois and later as a 711 intern for the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office.
