Barry Noeltner

Attorney in Edwardsville, IL

Barry digs in early, masters the facts, proposes a strategy, and provides the client with alternative solutions. He is prepared and ready to go, whether the solution is a dispositive motion, trial, or resolution. Barry has the experience to help anyone facing litigation or the threat of litigation, no matter the complexity. He has had the good fortune to serve clients, individuals, and businesses, both small and large, in urban and rural counties, and will do his best to assess the case and discuss available options early and as the case progresses.

In his over three decades of practice, Barry has written hundreds of legal articles and spoken before lawyers, legal staff, and clients at numerous seminars and meetings. His peers have recognized him multiple times throughout his career and honored him as an AV-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell®, an Illinois Super Lawyer, and an Illinois Leading Lawyer.

Barry has worked with bar association-supported efforts to provide legal assistance to non-profit arts groups and legal aid clinics. His work with the Atlanta-based Truancy Intervention Project included legal representation and mentoring to school children and families to assist with educational needs. He is active in annual Law Day activities, has participated in the nominations and selections for Peace Officer of the Year Awards, and assists in school outreach programs and church-sponsored outreach activities for disadvantaged groups.

A Southwestern Illinois Leadership Council Board member, Barry coached and volunteered with several youth sports leagues and teams and is a state-certified Community Coach. And just for fun, Barry serves as a wedding officiant, a certified Kansas City-style barbecue judge who enjoys cooking, especially on the grill or smoker, and follows the Blues, Salukis, the Georgia Bulldogs, and Atlanta Braves.
