Ward to Address Personal Jurisdiction after Mallory for DRI
March 21, 2024, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM (US Central)
Location:
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
DRI is pleased to announce that Heyl Royster’s Michael Ward and his colleagues will present “Personal Jurisdiction after Mallory” at the DRI Toxic Torts and Environmental Law Seminar on March 21, 2024. In Mallory, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Pennsylvania's "registration statute," that allows plaintiffs to sue any corporation registered to do business in the state, even if the corporation is not headquartered in the state and the suit did not arise in the state. The panel will discuss Mallory's application to other cases and include an update on legislative activity in other states.
