Ashleigh is an associate attorney in the firm’s Chicago office who is client-oriented and fervent about advocacy. Ashleigh focuses her practice in medical malpractice, toxic torts, workers’ compensation, product liability, employment and labor, and casualty/tort litigation.
Ashleigh has always been passionate about finding creative solutions to help her clients. Before attending law school, she worked for the Illinois Innocence Project, an organization dedicated to exonerating the wrongfully convicted. There, she learned to think outside the box to achieve the best results for her clients.
While in law school, Ashleigh externed for the Honorable Sue Myerscough of the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, gaining valuable insights into courtroom procedures from a federal judge’s perspective. Additionally, she utilized her 711 license to work as a student attorney for the Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic. In this role, she excelled in client communication, persuasive legal writing, and developing case strategies, all of which contributed to achieving favorable outcomes for her clients.
Ashleigh is dedicated to her clients and values open communication when discussing their challenges. She strongly emphasizes consistent interaction and recognizes that each client is unique. Thorough and driven, she enjoys the challenge of addressing complex legal issues.
At the University of Illinois College of Law, Ashleigh held several leadership positions, including President of the Real Estate Law Society and Vice President of the Public Interest Law Foundation. She also served as an ambassador for her school. Ashleigh graduated with recognition as a Leadership Scholar due to her active involvement, and she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for achieving the highest grade in one of her courses.
Currently, Ashleigh serves her Chicago community as a Big Brother Big Sister mentor, where she takes her “little sister” on fun adventures around the city. Additionally, every Tuesday during the academic school year, she tutors a student from an underprivileged school for Lawyers Lend a Hand, a nonprofit organization that empowers Chicago youth to achieve academic excellence through individualized tutoring and mentorship to improve literacy. In her free time, she loves playing pickleball and tennis and listening to live music. She is also an avid traveler, always looking for new travel tips and suggestions!
