Nicholas Limentato

Attorney in Champaign, IL

Nick joined Heyl Royster’s Champaign office in 2024 as an associate attorney.  He works in civil litigation, focusing on casualty/tort litigation, Worker’s Compensation, and healthcare. He firmly believes that clear communication is not just a tool but a necessity to build strong client relationships and achieve successful outcomes.

Nick's time at Southern Illinois School of Law was marked by his exceptional achievements. He earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2024 and was a standout member of the Moot Court team, winning multiple awards, including a national championship. His competence and expertise were further honed during his summers, which he spent working in Champaign, including at Heyl Royster in 2023.

Outside of his legal career, Nick is an officer in the Illinois National Guard, a role he took on after commissioning in 2020. He's also a passionate Chicago and Illini sports fan, staying active through weightlifting and exploring new ideas through reading.
