Buecker and Nolan to Participate as Fundraising Team in PAWS Chicago 5k

Heyl, Royster, Voelker & Allen is thrilled to share that Laura Buecker and Leah Nolan from our Chicago Office will participate as a fundraising team in the PAWS Chicago 5k on September 7, 2024. They will walk on behalf of their dogs, Malcolm and Clue.

Leah's personal journey from a dog owner to a lawyer is a testament to the transformative power of dedication and love. Her determination and passion for animal welfare, evident in her personal story of seeking justice for her dog after an attack on a Chicago sidewalk, is truly inspiring. When the owners of the attacking dog fled the scene, Leah took matters into her own hands, tracking down the owners and representing herself in court. Leah received a favorable judgment and solidified her desire to pursue a career in law.

Laura and Leah are active PAWS Chicago Professional Board members, committed to raising funds and awareness for PAWS Chicago's animal welfare initiatives. We are proud to be a firm that supports and encourages such meaningful initiatives.
