Tobin is an experienced litigator and counselor handling a wide range of civil litigation for businesses, corporations, and professionals, primarily within the Cook County, IL, courts. He began his legal career in 1996 in the firm’s Peoria office and, through his tenure, has served on its Board of Directors and as Hiring Partner to help direct the recruitment of top legal talent. In 2014, Taylor became the inaugural Office Managing Partner in the Chicago office. In that role, he helped the firm establish a strong Chicago presence across various practice areas and successfully positioned the office as a critical part of the firm’s regional growth.
Tobin was elected as the new Firm Managing Partner, effective January 1, 2024. Taylor continues to operate out of Chicago, stating, “I am excited to take on this role at such a pivotal time in the firm’s rich history. Our strategic positioning has enhanced our regional reach, and we are better positioned to expand each of our practice areas in all of our seven offices.”
