Brian dedicates his practice to real estate law and the representation of buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate. He assists clients with real estate issues, including sales and acquisitions, leasing, property tax assessments and exemptions, development, subdivisions, zoning, environmental problems, and title and title insurance status. His real estate practice includes public housing, the development of mixed-finance affordable housing, and local government law.
Heyl Royster is an Attorneys' Title Guarantee Fund agent, allowing Brian to act as title agent on numerous transactions and issue real estate title commitments and title policies. He has extensive practice assisting landlords with leasing and evictions and represents condominium and homeowner associations.
Brian has been active in the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce, served as a Chamber Ambassador, was a member of the Chamber's Government committee, and graduated from the Chamber's Community Leadership School and Political Action School. Brian was also a member of the Peoria Jaycees, serving as the chapter's Management Vice President, and has volunteered for the Nature Conservancy. He is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Peoria.
